Plastic or Glass?
Our kits are equipped with P.E.T. Better Bottle ™ plastic carboys. These plastic carboys are specifically for fermenting wine and beer and are easy to use, clean, unbreakable and impermeable to oxygen, stains, odors and flavors. They are less expensive, easier to ship and lighter weight. However, if you prefer, we can upgrade any kit for an additional $10.00 to accommodate a replacement of the plastic carboy with a glass carboy.
